MountainStays collects personal information necessary to plan and book your trip, including names, contact details (phone, email), and travel preferences (destinations, dates, activities, and budget). Payment details are not stored on our servers; they are securely processed by our third-party payment partner, Stripe, via dedicated invoices or payment links.

2. Use of Information

We use the information collected solely to:

  • Fulfill and manage your trip booking requests.
  • Communicate updates, confirmations, and changes regarding your itinerary.
  • Maintain internal records and customer service history.

3. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We only share necessary personal data with third-party service providers (e.g., hotels, ski schools, transfer companies) essential for the execution of your trip. We do not sell or rent your personal information to marketing companies. All financial transactions are managed by Stripe, and governed by their privacy policy.

4. Secure Payment Processing

All payments are securely processed via Stripe through invoices or payment links sent directly to you. No payment processing is done on this website. Your payment information is handled exclusively by Stripe, which maintains PCI-DSS compliance and industry-leading security standards. MountainStays does not store or have access to your credit card details.

5. Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data against accidental or unlawful destruction, loss, alteration, unauthorized disclosure, or access.

Terms & Conditions (T&C)

1. Agreement to Terms

By booking or engaging with the services provided by MountainStays, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. These terms govern the agreement between you (the Client) and MountainStays (the Planner).

2. Scope of Service

MountainStays provides consultation, planning, and booking facilitation services for mountain-based trips, including ski packages and full-day activities. We act as an intermediary in booking services provided by third-party suppliers (e.g., airlines, hotels, tour operators).

3. Payment and Fees

All prices are quoted and confirmed in the final itinerary proposal. Payment is required in full or in installments as specified on the individual invoice. Payment methods include secure Stripe invoices/payment links and in-person payment arrangements as agreed upon beforehand. All payment terms will be clearly communicated prior to booking confirmation. Failure to make payments by the due date may result in the cancellation of bookings.

4. Cancellations and Refunds

Cancellation policies for third-party suppliers (hotels, resorts, guides) will be clearly outlined in your itinerary. If a client does not receive a service for which the MountainStays planning fee was charged (and the service failure is attributable to us or our contracted supplier), that portion of the fee will be refunded. In certain cases of service disruption, further compensation may be offered at the sole discretion of MountainStays.

5. Limitation of Liability and Assumption of Risk

MountainStays' liability is strictly limited to the provision of its planning and booking facilitation services. We are not liable for any injury, loss, damage, delay, expense, or inconvenience caused by third-party suppliers (e.g., resorts, hotels, guides, transport providers) or actions outside of our direct control. Furthermore, the client acknowledges the inherent risks associated with mountain travel and activities (including but not limited to skiing, off-piste activities, hiking, and high-altitude exposure) and agrees that MountainStays holds no liability for accidents, injury, or death arising from these activities. Travel insurance with appropriate mountain activity coverage is strongly recommended.
